CHICAGO, Illinois Ð October
14, 2008 Ð Jim Schofield has joined Recaptured
Energy Technologies as vice president of business development, according to Sam
Jones, president of Recaptured Energy Technologies. In this position, Schofield will be responsible for the
sales and business expansion functions of the company.
ÒWe are very pleased to
have Jim as part of our management team,Ó said Jones. ÒHe has

knowledge of fuel optimization that will prove to be invaluable as we seek to
expand the application of our unique energy solutions for fleet, commercial and

Recaptured Energy has
developed a unique hydraulic braking and propulsion system that captures wasted
brake energy and converts it to an auxiliary source of energy to power the
vehicle. The result is lower
emissions, less engine maintenance and, most importantly, reduced fuel
consumption. Because the system is
designed to be retrofit to existing vehicles, there is no need to purchase new
vehicles that may not provide anticipated fuel economy.
